NuScriptRX names new CEO
January 7, 2014 - Nashville-based NuScriptRX has named a new chief executive officer.
C. Daniel Haron, formerly president of Cigna Pharmacy Management, is the mail-orderinstitutional pharmacy’s new CEO, according toa news release. Haron replaces board memberDonald Taylor, who has served as interim CEO since July 2012.
The following are excerpts from today's news release:
“We are grateful to Don Taylor for hiswillingness to serve as our interim CEO and toposition our company to attract a CEO like DanHaron,” said Dennis Bottorff, chairman of the board for NuScriptRX. “We welcome Dan to NuScriptRX. He has a superior record of achieving high service, growth and earnings results in our industry.”
Haron also served as executive vice president of operations at Cigna Pharmacy
Management for three years before accepting the president’s role. Prior to his
work at Cigna, Haron served as senior vice president and vice president of
pharmacy for Brooks and Eckerd Pharmacy. Additionally, Haron was with
CVS/Pharmacy for 14 years.

dispensing model designed to increase patient safety, reduce waste, medication
costs and medication administration time, while providing access around the
clock,” said Haron.
Haron earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Massachusetts
College of Pharmacy and Health Services.
