Andrew Bouldin Named Principal at FCA Venture Partners

FCA Venture Partners, the venture capital manager of investment firm Clayton Associates, announced today that Andrew Bouldin has been promoted to Principal.

Andrew joined FCA in 2010 as an associate. His work is primarily focused on FCA’s most recent fund, FCA V, a $53M fund investing in the healthcare services and information technologies industries, targeting early to growth stage businesses led by strong management teams with capital efficient, scalable, and disruptive business models. Andrew leads the firm’s industry and market research, financial analysis, and due diligence. He also assists portfolio companies with various research and financial initiatives, such as budgeting, market analysis and technology assessment and will continue to play an active role in sourcing new investments and managing the current portfolio. Andrew was recently appointed to the Board of Directors for LogoGarden, Inc.

Prior to joining FCA, Andrew worked with startups developing online marketing initiatives at Sicard & Company, LLC, completing due diligence at The University of Tennessee Research Foundation, and in business development at the Silicon Valley office of Uloop.com, Inc. He also has experience as an entrepreneur through founding MCRT Ventures Inc., which created and operates the college travel website MyCollegeRoadTrip.com.


Andrew graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Finance from The University of Tennessee and completed his MBA from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management in 2010 concentrating in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Andrew has participated in the local entrepreneurship community through his involvement with Vanderbilt’s Owen Entrepreneurship Center, Leadership Healthcare, and work as a mentor at The Nashville Entrepreneur Center.
