Charles Hagood, former President of HPP, joins Clayton Advisors

NASHVILLE, Tenn.  (June 1, 2015) – Nashville based private investment firm, Clayton Associates, announces the addition of Charles Hagood, founder and former President of Healthcare Performance Partners (HPP), as an affiliate to the firm’s consulting arm, Clayton Advisors.          

Charles Hagood led Nashville based HPP, an international healthcare consulting firm specializing in Lean process improvement methodologies and processes, since he founded it in 2003 until it sold in 2010.  Previously, Hagood served as the Senior Vice President and Practice Leader of the Advisory Solutions group for MedAssets, Inc. He also co-founded and served as CEO of The Access Group, LLC, an engineering and manufacturing Lean consulting firm.   Hagood serves as founding Director of the Lean Healthcare Certificate Program at Belmont University where he is an adjunct MBA faculty member.

Hagood, who will be serving as an affiliate to Clayton Advisors, is the newest addition to the seven person team, founded by Stuart and Clayton McWhorter in 2012.  Clayton Advisors, with its deep healthcare roots, leverage the collective industry expertise, management experiences, and relationships of its advisors to aid in strategic decision-making and accelerate business development.
